In 2012, one of my dreams came true. My cousin Liam, who was selected to sit in the bleacher seats on the red-carpet for the Academy Awards, invited me to join him. The experience was better than I ever could have imagined! We were seated hours early and I sat enthralled, watching the media and others bustle about as they prepared for the arrival of the celebrities. The red carpet itself was divided in half by a velvet rope.
