Abstract

This chapter provides a detailed overview of a number of important call flows, stepping the reader through all of the important parts of the associated process. Call flows are a fundamental tool for explaining and understanding the details of how something works—in the 5GS with its associated service-based architecture these tools increase in importance in order to explain complex procedures completely and effectively.
