In this chapter, we will discuss some of the Release 16 features, like enhanced service-based architecture (e-SBA ), where we will discuss NFset and NF service set followed by indirect communication and different types of indirect communication.

Further the reader will be introduced to the 5G policies and the different types of policies in 5G, how we can optimize some signaling, and how an application can be mapped to a network slice with the help of UE policies (URSP).
