Chapter 21: Interference Handling in TDD Networks

Abstract

Downlink-to-uplink and uplink-to-downlink interference are challenges to handle in TDD networks, especially in a network using dynamic TDD. This chapter describes the challenges as such and discusses two enhancements introduced in release 16, remote interference management (RIM) and crosslink interference (CLI) mitigation.
