At the end of Chapter 8, we have seen that in the new sustainable era in human history, human development will consist of actions that use the very best of biomimicry as well as the mutually beneficial symbiosis between digitalization and biologization. To unleash the full potential of biologization for the purpose of human development, it is helpful to better understand the biological uniqueness of humans and their possible evolution into future meta‐humans with infinite capabilities.
9.1 Becoming Human: The Biological Uniqueness of Humans
Recently, in his award‐winning book “Becoming Human,” [1] proposed a theory of biological human uniqueness and how we develop the qualities that make us human and become such a distinctive species. In the following, we summarize his major findings from nearly three decades of experimental work with humans and their closest primate relatives.
