The 7 Paths approach is an effective way to combat an unconscious false assumption that managers have been making for decades: that, given clear assignments, direct reports will produce precisely what the manager expects.
Every organization starts with an idea, a purpose, and a plan. Based on this plan, an organization structure is put together. This structure is composed of roles or positions showing what roles report directly to the CEO or president, what roles report to certain senior positions, and so on.
