Path 2: Managerial Meetings
Managers need to have regular, effective, and purposeful meetings with their direct reports for the purpose of problem solving, discussing ideas for solutions, reviewing priorities, and setting context; these and other situational meetings always require two-way communication. Group meetings reduce the tendency for the creation of silos between functions that are subordinate to a single manager, encouraging and enabling cross-functional work flow.
