A VISION PAINTS A PICTURE OF A DESIRED FUTURE. IT DOESNT provide information about the problems that must be solved to achieve it or about the potential of the current system. Change is not really a journey of a thousand steps toward a different, more desirable location (another common metaphor for change). Organizations don’t go anywhere.
