Building a Basic Residential Model: SPACEAdding Roofs, Zones, Beams, and Columns

In this chapter, we will continue modeling our small-scale residential project. This way, we will keep practicing the basic modeling tools we learned about in the previous chapter while learning new concepts needed to utilize more complex tools.

The following topics will be covered in this chapter:

  • Modeling sloped roofs
  • Tidying up the model – connecting walls and adjusting walls to roofs
  • Defining rooms and spaces by modeling zones
  • Adding some structure by adding beams and columns
