Skeleton and Mesh
We export the skeleton and mesh to an FBX file, which can be imported into most game engines. Another valid format is gLTF 2. Pick the one that works best with the game engine you are using.
Before exporting, make sure that the character’s armature is selected as well as all of the meshes that are part of the character. Everything else should be deselected. Once those are selected, click on the File menu and choose Export > FBX (.fbx). Navigate to the desired export location and set a name for the exported file. Then adjust these settings in the side panel (press N or click on the cogwheel button in the top right corner if settings are not visible):
- Enable Selected Objects.
