So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
22 Making and Using Prerecorded Content
If you plan to include video in your narrative, very often it will be the central medium around which the rest of your project is structured.
Audio and video can be the most expensive and complicated components of a transmedia production. To record film, you need a whole host of skills: casting, directing, acting, set dressing, costuming, prop manufacturing, lighting, and editing. And you need the equipment to record on, the space to record in, and the logistical skills to make sure that you get everything in place at the right time. Film production has fostered some of the finest producers and project managers I’ve met across any field.
