Managing Emotion at Work

Key Idea: The last social element of designing our corporate culture is that we need to understand and manage how people think and feel about the changes in progress around them. As this chapter discusses in some detail, the emotional state of the people is the best indicator that you are doing the right thing at the right pace. You may need to modify what you are doing or adjust the pace at which you make changes in order to maintain the emotional health of your organization and the engagement of your people.
