Standalone ESP8266 (Model: NodeMCU ESP-12E) and Android Wireless Sensor and Remote Control Projects
THIS CHAPTER WILL PRESENT a wireless communication system using the standalone ESP8266 ESP-12E-based NodeMCU microcontroller and an Android device. This system will be used for a variety of remote sensing and remote control projects.
First, a general overview of the Android and NodeMCU wireless system is given. Next, modifications needed for the basic wireless framework program for the Android are discussed.
