Abstract
New methodologies enter the energy-growth nexus field in an attempt to make its results more accurate and elaborate. One such methodology is the wavelet approach counting already a few examples in the energy-growth nexus. However, the energy-growth empirical works seem to use the method in a fragmented and piecemeal way, and thus energy-growth researchers do not yet have a complete picture of the method as used nowadays in the field.
