I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
7. Process Alignment
Preceding chapters focused on aligning projects with the strategic plan and with the organization’s structure. Successfully integrating project management into the organization requires one more challenge: aligning project work with the ongoing work of the organization.
In this final chapter on alignment, I take a work focus by examining project management as a part of normal business processes, to further help you seamlessly integrate project management into the organization. Additionally, if you already incorporate techniques to continuously improve your business processes (such as business process reengineering, continuous process improvement, or Six Sigma), you can apply them to your project management processes.
