What to Look for in a Monologue

The list of audition monologue dos and don’ts are legion these days. To help you choose the best monologue for your audition let me speak in general terms about a few things.

Your Type

You must know your Type and make your monologue choice accordingly. This is one of the first lessons you will learn as an actor. It is hard but it is necessary that you accept it and even embrace it.
