It’s important to do your research before you pack your bags. Each assignment location presents unique hazards, whether environmental or manmade. When possible, it’s best to identify and counteract potential threats in advance of your assignment. There may be pre-trip medications you’re required to take or clothing considerations that may require a stop at the store. Some tasks, such as obtaining body armor and passport visas, may necessitate more time and work.
Make your travel arrangements
