The TSS Core Service (TCS)

The primary goal of this book is to assist application developers in using TCG-related services via the TSS. Some readers may be looking to implement a TSS themselves or may want to have a better understanding of what’s really happening and how actual hardware resources are being handled. This chapter describes the TCS—the TSS Core Service—at a basic level and give some introduction into this part of the stack.

This chapter addresses the following:

  • A TSS Core Service is much like a software TPM.
