15. Rebuilding the Linux Kernel

Once you have installed Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Fedora, you may want to reconfigure and rebuild the Linux kernel. Fedora/RHEL comes with a prebuilt kernel that simplifies the installation process. This kernel may not be properly configured for all of your system’s features, however.
