The Load-In and Focus Packet

INTRODUCTION

The load-in and focus packet includes documents used to install, program, and focus a light plot. Their design and intent is to help accomplish these steps in the process in the quickest possible time. A hang plot lists the placement of the masking and the scenery, and shows how they fit in with the overhead electrics. A headset layout diagram graphically defines the communication channels that will be used. Focus cues, infrastructure cues, submasters, and groups are designed to be programmed into the lighting console and speed up activities using that computer.
