The Focus Session

INTRODUCTION

This chapter examines some of the events that occur during a focus session, and techniques that can be employed to expedite the process. Keep in mind that there are many different ways to focus front of house lights, overhead electrics, and boom sidelights. No one method is correct. This presentation is one combination presented to demonstrate different focus techniques.

OVERVIEW

In almost every union situation, the end of the focus session concludes the load-in portion of the schedule, which requires the largest number of stagehands.
