CHAPTER 13 Implementing EVMS

In this chapter, we look at the reasons for implementing a complete earned value management system and discuss the challenges of implementing any innovative procedure. Projects often use resources and processes across the entire organization. Therefore, when you change the way you handle projects, you also affect the entire organization. If you are responsible for implementing EVMS in your organization, you will need to plan the activity as a project and use all of your project management skills.
