Communication is the most important skill for supply chain people. Supply chain people optimize the supply of goods and services from suppliers through our businesses to the customer. In this work they interface with more different departments and suppliers than any other function. It is also clear that good supply chain people do also have excellent numeracy and logical thinking ability as well as great communication. This applies right from the head of the supply chain to vendor schedulers, buyers, and warehouse managers.
