Apart from those supplied with the Pro Tools software, Digidesign also offer several additional plug-ins as options, including the Realverb and D-Verb reverbs, the DPP-1 pitch-processor, DIN-R noise reduction, the Maxim limiter, Bruno and Reso for synthesizer effects, Sound Replacer for sample-replacement, D-Fi for creating low-bandwidth ‘grunge’ effects and D-FX for Audio Suite. Some of these are great for everyday use, while others will only be used on occasion to create special effects. It all depends on the kind of projects you are working on.
