Waves plug-ins

Waves, based in Israel, was the first company to develop audio plug-ins – originally for Digidesign Sound Designer II software. Within a couple of years, development shifted to the Pro Tools TDM platform, and has since been widened to include all the other major formats, including Steinberg VST and MOTU MAS on the Mac and Direct X on the PC. This means that these plug-ins will work with Pro Tools TDM and LE, Digital Performer, Cubase VST and Logic Audio, Peak and Spark on the Mac, and with Pro Tools, Cubase VST, Logic Audio, and software from Sonic Foundry, Sek'D, CoolEdit Pro and CakeWalk on the PC.
