The Goal
Light is meaningful only in relation to darkness, and truth presupposes error. It is these mingled opposites which people our life, which make it pungent, intoxicating. We only exist in terms of this conflict, in the zone where black and white clash.
Once the setup is complete, the active part of your job is over. A characteristic of this formal approach to dialogue is that you are directive before it starts and then essentially nondirective during the process. During the setup you actively present examples and models; you persuade, inspire, and do your best to disrupt old patterns of thinking and talking and suggest new ones.
