To a first approximation, it is more important that we attend to some tasks regularly than it is that we attend to them often. For example, it’s important to brush your teeth, and many people follow so-called proven recommendations of attending to it three times a day. Cope’s dentist recommends that if he does it really well, he needs to do it only once a day. Dina has learned that it is twice a day.
