For good governance at the national level, reforms related to election procedures, working and role of the central and state governments, judiciary, institutional mechanisms and civil services are called for.
Electoral Reforms
The following eight measures have been proposed towards electoral reforms:
1. Complete Candidate Disclosure
Rationale. The present law (Ordinance promulgated in August 2002) provides for reasonable disclosure.
