The previous chapter pointed out the role of projects in organizations. It could be seen that projects are the tools of implementing organizational strategic objectives, while these strategic objectives imply changes. Because of the permanent changes characteristic of the operational environment, appropriate changes of the organizations themselves are of great importance. The direction of the organizational changes is set by the organizational strategy, although the implied changes are implemented by means of projects.
