So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Types of Computers
Computers come in all shapes and sizes, but they fall within four broad categories: supercomputers, mainframes, minicomputers, and microcomputers. Before delving into the hardware specifics, it will be helpful to define what the four types of computers are all about.
Most computers today are designed to be multiuser computers. Even though a computer can perform only one instruction at a time, it does it so fast that more than one person can share the computer, and each person can think he is the only person on that computer at the time.
