Creating a new site works well if you're starting from scratch, but you might have already designed a site using another program or inherited a site from someone else. In those cases, you need to import the site so that FrontPage recognizes it. To import a site, do the following:
Choose File, New to open the New task pane.
Choose More Web Site Templates from the task pane to open the Web Site Templates dialog box.
Specify the new location for your imported site. (FrontPage actually makes a copy of the files and folders in the existing site, so you need to specify a new location rather than the current location of the files.)
