Importing Files and Folders
Creating a new site works well if you're starting from scratch, but you might have already designed a site using another program or inherited a site from someone else. In those cases, you need to import the site so that FrontPage recognizes it. To import a site, do the following:
1. | Choose File, New to open the New task pane. |
2. | Choose More Web Site Templates from the task pane to open the Web Site Templates dialog box. |
3. | Specify the new location for your imported site. (FrontPage actually makes a copy of the files and folders in the existing site, so you need to specify a new location rather than the current location of the files.) |
4. | Double-click Import Web Site Wizard from the list of templates. FrontPage creates ... |
