Like any other type of document, a workbook needs to be saved and, in many situations, printed. You have a few options for saving workbooks, and Excel gives you a handful of different file formats from which to choose.

You can also exercise some control over how a worksheet prints, printing the entire worksheet or just a selection. As explained in Chapter 20, “Pies, Bars, and Other Sweet Additions,” you can also print a chart by itself, if needed.
