Flagging E-mails and E-mail Reminders
Individual e-mails can often get lost among all the other e-mails in a folder but may require some further action such as a reply, follow-up, or review. Outlook provides a way of marking such e-mails so they stand out; this process is known as flagging.
Flagged e-mails stand out in a folder view of e-mail items so that they can easily be seen and also are shown in the For Follow Up Search Folder. You will learn about Search Folders in Chapter 5, “Search Folders.” Flagged e-mails can also have attached reminders that show a reminder dialog when the reminder is due.
