In addition to all the e-mail settings you have learned about so far in this chapter, others are available in the InfoBar that is displayed in the Reading Pane, in open items, and in the Message Options dialog. In this section, you will learn about these settings.
Blocked Content
Many e-mails contain links to pictures or other content located on the Internet. When the link is activated, the content is downloaded and displayed in the e-mail. This technique is also used for other less benign purposes, however, such as Web beacons, which are tiny, invisible links that let a spammer know that your e-mail address is a valid one.
