Using the Address Book Dialog

Although you can open the Address Book dialog at any time, you will most often work with address books when you are addressing e-mails or other items you are sending, such as task requests.

Let's look more closely at the Address Book dialog, shown in Figure 6.7.

  • Select New Entry to add a new entry to the selected address book. You can add new entries to contacts and Personal Address Books. Most LDAP address books allow only entries made by an administrator, and you cannot add new entries to an Exchange GAL.

  • Select Find Items to open the Find dialog. Depending on which address book is selected, you may be able to search for names or other information in the address book entry.
