Working with the Navigation Pane

The Navigation Pane is Outlook's all-purpose navigation tool. It enables you to move from folder to folder and display groups of folders such as Mail or Calendar folders. The Navigation Pane is also used to show shortcuts you create to folders and to display folder views and commands for working with folders. Figure 11.1 shows the Navigation Pane displaying the Folder List, which shows all your Outlook folders.
