Using Exchange Public Folders

Public Folders are available when you are using Microsoft Exchange server. Public Folders are folders that are available within an Exchange organization on a shared basis. Various permissions determine who can view, create, edit, and delete items in each Public Folder, which you will learn about in the section “Folder Permissions” later in this chapter.

Public Folders are visible in a separate group of folders than your Exchange mailbox. To view Public Folders, display the Folder List in the Navigation Pane. Under the Public Folders folder are two main folders—Favorites and All Public Folders—as shown in Figure 21.9.
