Upgrading to Windows XP Professional

You can upgrade to Windows XP Professional from any of the following versions of Windows:

  • Windows 98/98SE

  • Windows Me

  • Windows NT Workstation 4.0

  • Windows 2000 Professional

  • Windows XP Home Edition

You cannot upgrade to Windows XP Professional from Windows 95 or earlier operating system versions (including MS-DOS).

Preparations to Make Before Upgrading to Windows XP
