The best way for you to learn how to write macros is “just do it.” So, the following sections contain the steps to create three sample macros. Even if you don't think you will ever use the macros, take a few minutes and create them anyway. You will learn a lot about the way macros work.

Creating a Signature Block Macro

A typical signature block is two lines down from the last line of a letter. A signature block generally contains a person's name, followed by four blank lines (or enough room for a signature), the person's title, and other identifying information.
