Your Next Steps

Over the next two weeks, I am asking you to take the following action steps to support your professional development:

  1. Conduct at least three feedback interviews. One of these should be with your manager, while the other two should be with organizational leaders who are familiar with both your career target and your own work performance. Use the questions provided in this chapter to guide your interview process.
  2. From these questions, see whether you can identify recurring themes regarding your key strengths and development needs, with particular attention on those areas you need to development to support your long-term career goals.
