Now we've trekked through what you can and should add to your application, it may be time to discuss what you should but don't strictly have to include. I'm talking about the new test optional universe created, or at least given a good shove along by, COVID-19.
When I applied to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, and a range of other universities, I was very focused on making sure I had strong standardized test scores.
