There are different ways to type expressions in report controls. You can right-click a control to access its Control Source property in the Property sheet, or you can click directly on the text box and start typing. You might be wondering, “Why not just type the formula in the box directly every time?” This method would work, except for the fact that you might need to right-click the controls anyway to check the other properties.
