I suffer from what a consultant friend calls “ideaphoria.” That is, interesting ideas intoxicate me. In fact, I get so worked up over a good idea that my body often betrays my mind’s hidden excitement; were you to peek into my study, it wouldn’t be odd for you to find me rocking in my chair, slapping my leg, and mumbling feverishly to myself—all while I was guzzling a particularly heady thought.
