Replication Process
The discussion up to this point has dealt with the details of how the replication topology is created in Active Directory. This section approaches replication from a completely different perspective. The focus now switches from how replication information flows through the organization to how the updated information is actually transmitted between domain controllers. In other words, the focus now is on how the domain controllers know what information they must replicate between KCC-determined replication partners.
