Using the Active Directory Installation Wizard
The Active Directory Installation Wizard is as straightforward as a wizard comes. All of the options in the wizard are well explained and presented in a logical order. Rather than stepping you through this otherwise self-explanatory process, this section will discuss the key decision points one encounters when installing Active Directory.
To start the Active Directory Installation Wizard, type dcpromo in the Run dialog box or at the command prompt. The Active Directory Installation Wizard’s Welcome page appears.
