This chapter discusses general issues for women with ADD as well as the impact that some of those issues have on their functioning in the workplace.
Until recently, ADD had been considered an almost strictly male disorder. Not only have we come to recognize that ADD is a disorder affecting adults, but we are learning that it affects many more women than was previously thought.
