Chapter 10. Managing the Network

Networks are complex combinations of hardware and software that link systems together so they can work interactively and share data. A network can consist of static or dynamic connections. Managing these connections in Server Core can be a bit of a challenge if you're used to working exclusively with the GUI. However, a surprising number of administrators probably have some level of experience because many tasks are simply faster to perform at the command line, so Server Core may not prove as big a shock as you think in this area.
