Chapter 6. Adding Security to 3D PDF Files

Adding Security to 3D PDF Files

You can protect your Adobe PDF files by applying security that limits who can access your documents and how users can manipulate the content of your files. You can certify Adobe PDF files to attest to the validity of the contents of the file.

In this lesson, you’ll do the following:

  • Apply password protection to a file.

  • Email a file using a security envelope.

  • Certify a document.

This lesson will take about 30 minutes to complete.

If needed, copy the Lesson06 folder onto your hard drive.
