A Few Final Tweaks
This is looking great, but there are a few last minute things we can do to really make it shine.
Mask the Phone Screen
This video has sharp corners, but the phone screen has rounded corners. We can easily fix this with a mask. However, combining a mask with a distortion effect such as Corner Pin can yield unpredictable results. It’s a good idea to use precompositions in a case such as this.
- Select the BeemoBoop layer.
- Precompose it with Layer > Precompose or ⌘-shift-C/Ctrl-Shift-C.
- Name the new precomp BeemoPrecomp.
- Select Leave all attributes in MochaMe.
We want to leave the Corner Pin effect in the top-level comp, so the precomp becomes just a video.
- Select Open New Composition.
- Hit OK.
