8. Using Styles and the Styles Panel

Lesson overview

A powerful but often overlooked feature of Fireworks is the Styles panel. Working with styles can improve productivity, because you can apply a series of preset effects for text, vectors, and, to some extent, even bitmap images. You can then save that same series as a style and use it as often as you want without having to rebuild—or match—the complex effect from scratch. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to do the following:
